An employee at Warp 1 responds to Nathan's Serenity comic tale about overpricing from the point of view of the store. Looks like they got a few comments.
Joss Whedon put in a special appearance at the Angel Booster Bash tonight. He came as Alexis' date to the banquet this evening and while here told people he will not be at Dragoncon and he had never even been scheduled to be there. (Added) Joss posted to confirm that, indeed, he will not be attending Dragoncon. More...
US Sci-Fi station to air 30 minute Serenity special on Tuesday 27th September at 10pm. A Firefly marathon is running from lunchtime that day, with 10 episodes airing. 3 days before the movie hits cinemas. Sci-Fi are also running a behind the scenes Serenity special this Friday.
The geek shall inherit the Earth - "In response to fan pressure, a movie version was greenlighted, and when preview footage was ready to be screened, Whedon used his own blog to announce a series of regional screenings. They sold out almost instantly."

Nathan says all as it should be with Serenity at Universal (req required). "Relax. All is as it should be. Do not let impatience ruin the anticipation, y'all." He says the first two weeks will be where Serenity's success will ultimately rest in the balance.
