The Times reviews the Serenity R2 DVD. That's the London Times by the way, not the johnny come lately New York one. Anyhow, they give the DVD 4 stars out of 5 and cock a snoop at George Lucas by saying "it is quite possible for the writing to be as lively as the visuals".
The Brokeback Effect. "Slash" has been propelled into the near-mainstream thanks to the popularity of Brokeback Mountain. Mentions of Faith/Buffy and Angel/Spike slash vids, etc.
Midnight Serenity, Plus Firefly Marathon. Browncoats in and around Santa Cruz, California, get one sweet event come April 1st. And the 14-hour running time would seem to suggest that it's the film followed by the entire series (though I've not confirmed that).
