Jason Hall, who played Devon MacLeish (lead singer of Dingoes Ate My Baby) on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, got nominated in the Best Adapted Screenplay category for 'American Sniper'. In related Whedonverse news, Mark Ruffalo got nominated in the Best Supporting Actor category for his role in 'Foxcatcher'.
