Joss Whedon on RUNAWAYS. As many predicted, Joss will take over Runaways starting with issue 25. Now with a post by Joss. Uh, and a 2nd public service message by Joss as well. Joss Whedon to write Stan Lee tribute story. It's all to celebrate Stan Lee's 65th anniversary with Marvel Comics. Brian Bendis broke the news to Stan in an interview at the revamped Wizard site. Update: Joss' story isn't really about Spider-Man but instead it's "an inter-dimensional comic book convention" tale according to Newsarama. More...

A couple of Whedon goodies in print next week on April 26th, with the releases of both Astonishing X-Men #14 (Marvel) and Angel Scriptbook #2 (IDW), which covers the season five episode "A Hole in the World". In related news we'll see the release of the final issue of Angel: Old Friends #5 this week.

Joss Whedon now part of Marvel's "The 10 Terrific". A group of writers of which Marvel's Joe Quesada says "are going to be getting a super boost from Marvel. Each [writer] will be getting a regular series or a major mini-series that will hopefully push them to that next level."

Vote Astonishing X-Men for Marvel's Cover of the year. Issue six goes head to head against the first issue of New Avengers in the final (reg req to vote). Though how this issue 2 cover got knocked out in the first round is anyone's guess.
