'Serenity' cameo in new Battlestar Galactica miniseries and according to Haken at fireflyfans.net, it's the "same VFX team over at Zoic Studios that created the effects for Firefly also did Battlestar Galactica."

How cool is that :).

Well, Harry's a questionable source, and I'm not fond of the original show; but that really does sound horrible.
