(SPOILER) Serenity production artwork by Geoffrey Mandel (movie graphic designer).

Looks very... vibrant, but oh so pretty and shiny.

Wow. Great link, cheers :).

But putting a spoiler tag on this one, as I think the top right pic shows a .
People still like anime 500 years in the future?
Hey, he did the Solaris artwork and monitor animation too. Great stuff all 'round.
I almost put a spoiler tag on this because of the Alliance planets, but I had not even noticed the ___? that Simon pointed out. They look somewhat "Killer Klowns From Outer Space"-ey.
Ew! LJ icon users, avatar makers, snippers and lifters of all stripes: START YOUR ENGINES! Let the tiny copyright infringements begin. "Act now to make massive Browncoats points before all the good 100x100 pixel graphics are gone."

[Blast! I thought I had the Fruity Ooty iconography locked!]
Shiiiiiiiny!
I know of Geoff from his designs for Space Above and Beyond (another sci-fi themed show from almost ten years ago that was on FOX and subsequently cancelled; history repeats itself) and Star Trek.
SOOO cool! Can't wait, can't wait, can't wait . . .
Doesn't that frooty ooty girl look a bit like a sexed-up Kaylee?
Nah. Kaylee doesn't have pink hair. Though seeing anime version of the characters would be interesting(if not bringing up more discussions about Cowboy Bebop and Firefly)
Is it me or do I see a little "mr. sparkle" Homer Simpson In the Lower left corner of the upper Right pic?
What do you think? http://simpsons.metropoliglobal.com/famosos/4F18SabShimono.jpg

I thought that was Homer Simpson too. Maybe The Simpsons are still on TV 500 in the future?
Funny, I did look, not noticing the spoiler tag, but was fortunate enough to miss the ___ Simon is warning us about. Phew. Unspoiled me.

Sheesh. I'd forgotten all about that show. I remember liking it.
I recently watched all of Space Above and Beyond again. Not sure why I like it so much, but it could have something to do with James Morrison.
Is anyone else having trouble accessing the Serenity portion of his site? It looks empty now, like he took everything down. The rest of the pages look fine, Spider-man, etc...

Hmm.
Yes you're right Willowy. I bet he's been told to take it down by Universal. I've changed the link to fireflyfans.net who managed to snag the artwork before it disappeared.

Hahaha, good ole internet.....there's no fighting it, is there.
Hey thanks Simon. Wanted to find the little Homer icon everyone but me noticed. Is he wearing a moustache?

Incognito Homer? Or a sly tribute to Wash in Out of Gas? ;)
Soooo pretty... And so very, very exciting. Is it April yet?
