I wonder if that third pic of Summer and Joss is from their set in the Santa Clarita Valley.

I live there, and a few months ago, I saw big pink signs with SERENITY written on them. So... what does one do, besides beckon to the quiver of unprecedented joy and excitement and follow the signs.

I followed them out of the Valley borders onto this dirt road, pass the "No Tresspassing" sign, and oversaw a giant parking lot, and then... the vast, elaborate Serenity set. I got... weird, and swerved the car around in a dust cloud, never to return (though I had planned to).

So, um... yeah, I wonder if that picture is it.

Wasn't Firefly shown and is still be shown on the UK sci fi channel?

Firefly did indeed air, and is airing at the moment, on Sky here in the UK. But many people still dont have Sky, though I'd expect someone who runs a movie/TV website to have it!

Yeah, TheZeppo, I would've been afraid I'd have got caught at a key moment and Joss being furious that I found out the major, top secret spoiler for the movie that he would then forever ban me from ever seeing the completed film. Okay, I'm a bit paranoid but great story!! But at least you got a real glimpse of it even if you chickened out and ran for your life!

eee! That first pic is of Joss doing the "director" hands -- framing the space to see what he'd want the camera to capture. Oh if it were bigger, I'd save it and feel giddy every time I looked at it b/c it's too cute. Director hands!

Knowing Joss's reputation... kinda, I bet he set that "director-on-set-with-framy-hands" picture up just as strenuously as he would a scene from the film.

And the "No Tresspassing" sign was a permanent one, to the ranch which they were shooting. There would have been a blue-hat and billy club at the entrance if they were *really* worried.

I know in my heart he would've taken me under his wing after I collpased in the dirt, begging for a job like I'd die without one. Oh well, next time.

I take it I'm the only one that is not actually seeing the pics? The pages load but where there's supposed to a pic there is a decidedly apparent absence of pic.

And the guy posting them has a nice attitude doesn't he? Personally I'd say that he doesn't need fear of us 'precious uncritical nerds', his admittance of not knowing anything about Serenity or Firefly should be enough for him to not 'start disparaging' what Joss is doing.

Just a crazy thought....
