Ariel Ambulance Fund Has reached its Goal. The Ariel Ambulance Fund as reached its target goal of $4000.00 which will cover buying the Ariel Ambulance as well as initial moving and restoration costs.

An extremely generous donor who wishes to remain anonymous has made up the balance that was lacking, so a big thank you to that person whoever they are. The ambulance can now be bought, restored and shown at conventions and museums of which there are two venues already interested. There are also a couple of props kindly donated by the Prop Store of London to show along with the ambulance, a med kit and a hospital uniform.

So glad to see that these guys didn't give up on this! Huzzah to the goal-reaching!
Yeah, horrah for them, and that mysterious donor... thats something....
Aw, that's awesome - this made my morning, thank you!
Congratulations to everyone involved with this!
How much had they'd raised before anonymous benefactor came to the rescue?
That really frockin' cool! Yet another decible of Browncoat noise to add to the headaches of the idiots at FOX.
Well, I just wanted to give that "anonymous benefactor" a huge thank you for saving a part of our show. 'Ariel' is still a toss-up of mine between 'Out of Gas' as favorite Firefly show. I still believe Firefly would've blown BtVS and AtS out of the water if Fox gave the show a chance. Joss really had a game plan with Firefly. Sadly, we'll never know....
Holy crap! They just found this thing in a junk yard, three years after the fact? That blows my mind. I wonder what other FF props are lurking out there, waiting to be found?
Wow, good job by those guys. I remember this popping up a while back but it's good to get an update.

Re: anonymous donor, I bet it's me. That's exactly the sort of thing i'd do but I wouldn't want the credit so I wouldn't tell anyone (including myself since i'm terrible at keeping secrets). Wait a minute, who told me that ? Note to self: separate cerebral hemispheres more throughly in future, possibly employing radical neuro-surgery.

(whoever actually did donate the cash anonymously, thanks and I hope you get to enjoy the finished product ;)
Caroline, the last update was $2865 to go as of March 10th. That's a decent amount of money for someone to donate.

And thanks to that anonymous donor!
