Charisma Carpenter to be lead in Cheater's Club. She's been cast in the lead role in a new Lifetime TV movie to be directed by Steve DiMarco, currently filming in Ontario, Canada, according to Variety.

I agree it's good to see CC keeping herself busy...but Lifetime? Surely, someone in TV Land has a comedy pilot that's just right for her.

Yes, Khan, the Women In Jeopardy Network has a pretty limited range, I think...I'd love to see Charisma in something that really let's her stretch her comedic chops.

I'd also like to see her stretch her comedic chops, as well as deliver a few karate chops. Hell, I'd gladly watch Charisma on the Food Network cooking up lamb chops.

I second that.

I really do wish she had some sort of a pilot coming up for a comedy. I don't know if she's gonna be on Veronica Mars next season, but I really miss seeing her on the television on a nearly week-to-week basis.

Just keep your fingers crossed that VM will get another season. With the UPN/WB merger and the good but not blockbuster ratings, I'm a little afraid this might be the end. And I really want the show to have a chance to turn itself around with a third season!
