Fox pick up Gina Torres's "Primary" for full season order. The show was also created by Craig Silverstein who worked with Tim Minear on "The Inside".

"As for "Primary," the 20th Century Fox Television-based hour centers on a man (Ron Livingston) and a woman (Rosemarie DeWitt) who dance around their budding relationship while focusing on their jobs as hostage negotiators. Gina Torres ("The Shield"), Michael Cudlitz ("Prison Break") and Raquel Alessi ("Carlito's Way: Rise to Power") also star in the project, which comes from creator Craig Silverstein ("The Inside") and executive producer/director Tim Story ("Fantastic Four")."

Excellent! Craig's work on The Inside was pretty great.

I'm not 100%, but I think Adam Baldwin might be in the pilot. I'm about 50% on that. I know he did a hostage negotiator pilot as a 'guest', but that might be another one.
Outstanding news! I don't know the details about this show, however I'm tickled pink Gina has a role. A wonderful actress that we need to see more. gossi, I hope you're correct that Adam will be a part of the pilot. That will be great!
Sure hope Fox gives this show a chance, at least, before they yank it.
Well, it should get at least 13 episodes now. Go Gina. Go Craig.

Edit: was wrong about Adam's pilot. He was in a pilot called "Talk to Me" for TNT, which was a similar concept (hostage taking etc).

Should we go ahead and register "saveprimary.com"?
I hope they allow her to have a well rounded character. We know she can play tough but I would like to see silly once in a while. Though this doesn't sound like quite the vehicle for that, does it?
lol, Chris Bridges (and so true)! Yay Gina! :-)
No match for domain "SAVEDRIVE.COM".

Nobody loves Timmy!
Hooray Gina + Craig!!!
No problem, gossi.

True, Lioness, but have you seen 2025? (shudders on the thought). I understand your drift, guess time will tell.

I wonder where she is on the list for a guest spot on How I Met Your Mother? ;-)
"which comes from creator Craig Silverstein ("The Inside") and executive producer/director Tim Story ("Fantastic Four")."

Sing it with me now, One of these writers is not like the other. Yes, I'm mean. Fantastic Four was one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Let's hope Craig has the artistic vision with this one. Yippee for Gina.
Right on, Gina! Go, girl! I'm always happy to see a sistah get some casting love. Especially when it's in a drama.
Now, let's hope Fox runs the series IN PROPER ORDER, and let's the whole series run. Even if it's for one season.
Sheesh.
Excellllllllent. *does cheers for Gina* I hope it's good, and they write her a great role, she certainly deserves to have all of that success.

And finally I have actual Gina news to report on my Gina site. Woohoo! (I'm selfish that way.)
Madhatter, 2025 was quite shuddery, but Jennifer Sky? Oh my.
More high hopes for this fall season. In addition to Gina(!), it stars Ron Livingston(mmm!) Add in some deft writing and I'm there.
Ummm, picking up a pilot for FOX the last few seasons that typically meant if you were luckey a script ordered 13 episodes, all though as of last season they would commitment to 7 episodes. So even though FOX picked up the pilot it in no way means it was a full season commitment. New shows rarely get a full commitment upfront anymore.
Amen, RavenU, you can say that again. It's getting to the point where I don't bother watching new shows because the cancellation is only a few weeks away. It's a sad sight for network television and FOX is the worse. Really looking forward to the days when brilliant minds, such as our beloved Joss, makes a return.

Then, again, I always bitch about everything.
