Preaching the word of Whedon. C|Net talks with Adam Whiting and spreads the word about the upcoming "Can't Stop the Serenity" screenings.

Minions!

Minions, I say!

Muahahaha.
Yes. I was wondering about that.

Hmmmm.
Can I be a minion? Is there a test? I'm going to a screening... does that count?
And as Adam Whiting points out, it's rather prominently shown on the main news.com page.
I randomly preach the gospel of the 'verse in bookstores.
I must be a minion.
I'm glad Adam cleared that up.
Wow the entire state of Oregon is a member here.
And the planet of Gossi, bix. We have trees.

By the way - front of CNN? Article on MTV? Syndicated newspaper columns? I'd suggest these screenings have done more publicity of Serenity than the preview screenings last year. Which is quite an accomplishment.

There also seems to be less of a "crazy fans, aren't they strange" slant to the articles. I guess once something is for charity, a little respect is considered appropriate.
I'd like to spread the word - does anyone know of a simple pdf that advertises the screenings? With a blank space to write in the local time and place would be nice. I could print a few and post around.
Charismatic! Has minions! Stays crunchy, even in milk!
Hey Adam, how does it feel to be famous? ;)
"Rabid" again. For the love of Joss, why?

(I've had my shots).

I have two Serenity guerilla marketing posters, Kaylee and Zoe, which have the main info for the screenings pre-printed on them... with a nice open area at the bottom for placing info for specific screenings.

They are downloadable PNG files, not too big. They're black and white, ready for printing and photocopying on colored paper. Take a look, if these posters are something you'd like to use to promote the Serenity Now / Equality Now screenings... then please do so!

Btw, to the mods... hope I haven't violated the rules about posting to your own site. But I was responding to a person's request and I always want to encourage guerilla marketing for such an important event whenever I can.

Edited to add ~ Thanks for the response SoddingNancyTribe! (I know a lot of people abbreviate your name... but it's too much fun to spell out... heh... )

Not a problem, 11thHour. As it says in the relevant section of the Rules: "Linking to your own stuff in the comments is acceptable, if relevant to the discussion." Thanks for asking.
11thHour - thanks! i printed out one of each and they look great. i just stuck the local particulars on the bottom of the page, and plan to post a few around town. again, xie-xie.
foofaraw ~ You're most welcome. So glad to know you're doing good works and spreading the word!
