Thank you for posting that article. Short yet succinct. You show me a man whose mother raised him to be believe that a strong woman is a benefit, nay a necessity in the world, and that womankind is to be respected, and I'll show you all us single gals, whatever age, who pine to be with a partner exactly like the man that Lee Stearns raised her son to be. I am confident, short of a horrible industrial accident, that Joss Whedon will still be creative into his 60s, 70s, and beyond. His children will grow, he'll keep thinking and reflecting and new inspiration will come. I can't imagine a world without him.

Yes, but Mark Morford is probably the most popular sfgate blogger there is. I live in the Bay Area and most everyone I know reads him regularly. This is indeed good PR for Joss. :)

Ah, Joss, you made me cry. Laughing through the first of his answers to The Question, I felt such release when he got to this answer. It made me think of the moment, at the end of Buffy, when all the Potentials are empowered, and I cried a little more.

The world is a better place with Joss in it, and there's nothing more important than that.
