Done the Impossible finished! The fan documentary on the Browncoats DVD is finally ready, and will begin shipping in 7-14 days (after the 11th).

After one year in production, including numerous delays, the impossible has been done. The wait will definitely be worth it, there will be countless special features and extras included.

Yep, I just got an e-mail confirming my order. I'll be getting the DVD, plus the bundle of bonus-DVDs offered back then. The documentary DVD itself still sounds absolutely amazing, with an absurd amount of extra's. I'm looking forward to receiving this and very glad that it'll be shipping soon.

And yes, that cover looks great. Can't wait!

Same here... It took its sweet time alright, but hopefully it will be worth it. And yes, that cover is great. Maybe Universal should look at hiring whoever made that cover, cause they seem to need some assistance you know.

I have seen and early version of this and it is awesome. I know they have added a ton more since I saw it. You will not be disappointed. They took some extra time and did it right. It will be worth the wait!

Got my confirmation email today, too, and I must say that I can't wait for this. From the specs list alone, I think it looks great.

Bravo to the creators for all of their hard work. I'm sure the wait will prove well worth it.

According to the news item on their website, yes it will be shown at Comic-Con.

I preordered mine last September. ;-) I'm getting the bonus DVDs as well, yay!

Thanks for the compliments on the cover, it was a middle of the night sleep deprived stroke of inspiration from Jared.

I'm all for helping out Universal with their covers, but I'm more interested in documenting Joss' next big thing (Wonder Woman?). Joss, you listening? Our documentary team is available for hire (and we're cheap too...).

I'm thrilled everyone is enjoying the cover. It started out as a picture of Earth/Miranda with the Sun rising behind it, but we knew it needed something more - enter Jayne! :-)

The DVD is Region Free NTSC, so feel free to enjoy it anywhere in the world.

I seem to remember at one point there was going to be some order/payment option other than Paypal. What ever happened to that -- for those of us in the US who have wanted to order a copy but who refuse to use Paypal?

Just a thought... you know how HBO runs the "making of" specials, often before or after a movie is shown? Any chance Done the Impossible can find its way to being shown along with Serenity when it comes to HBO? (I think we are too late for Cinemax...I think it's on next week) It just seems like the perfect way to show the non-fans out there why the Verse is so special. Would/could they play it?

Actually I just found out the company that hosts our site is in the middle of a power outage, and their backup generator isn't working. Not exactly the greatest day for that to happen. Hopefully it will be up again soon.

Very kind and wonderful of the Done the Impossible team to offer Theonetruebix a DVD. From what I read here at Whedonesque, 'bix worked his ass off coordinating the Serenity Now screenings, and tens of thousands of dollars were raised for Equality Now. If that doesn't earn a man a free DVD...congratulations, 'bix, and "well done," JeremyN!
