Serenity Oz returns home. Universal Pictures Australia & UIP hand the Serenity Oz site back to the fans. It completes the online journey for all the official sites back into fan control.

The good news is I don't think any of the official sites just closed, which would normally be the case.

I should make a joke about being drifting Independents here.

Heh heh yes you could Gossi. Then we'd have to hunt you down and kill you. Cause...ya know...it's what we do.
Also, none of the official site will be closed. It's being maintained, and maybe even improved (can you imagine that, how does one improve perfection?). Through a serious of voting it seems.

You know, I'm not sure this has ever been done before - a movie turning over its sites to fans. That's something that should really be celebrated, and as I understand it, Gossi deserves significant thanks and kudos for making it all happen. :)

Not in Serenity Oz's case - first I knew was reading about it online. I suspect nixy is to ~~blame~~ thank for that one ;)

I'm pretty sure it's never happened before, but then 'never happened before' applies to so many Serenity related matters from all manner of angles it's amusing.

Yes, my dear sweet Chocky is the one who started the talking, I was listenng, then I started talking to TPTB, and now it's ours!
I just wish he was here to share it with us.
