Narrated By Eliza Dushku: Eliza Dushku has narrated a Lauren Weisberger audiobook...

This is my first post, so please forgive my newbie scented ramblings.

If you haven't been living in a crypt for the past several months, you'll have heard about Lauren Weisberger, the chick-lit phenom of recent The Devil Wears Prada fame. What many of you don't know, is that Mrs. Weisberger penned a novel before Devil, called Everyone Worth Knowing.

The lovely Eliza Dushku narrates the fun but shallow audiobook version with aplomb (excepting, of course, her British imitation, which is abominable). For Buffy and Angel fans, it's very easy to picture Dushku playing the role of the wry heroine, Bette; Spending four hours in my mind's eye with Eliza was quite a vacation. Although the link I've provided is to Amazon, the abridged audiobook can be had for about 15 USD from iTunes.

Cellar Door,

Somebody tell me why the audiobook is abridged?
To get to the other side ?

Sorry ;).

(most audiobooks are abridged since it takes longer to say words than it does to read them. Even with a fairly short novel a reading may well stretch to about 4-5 hours)

Got to say that the book doesn't really interest me but just hearing ED's voice for a few hours is a temptation. Shallow, moi ? Not half ;).
Yeah another vote for buying it because of Eliza's voice, such a great woman.
