Crap. And I was putting off buying the last set I miss to see if they put out a complete series box, but now if I want a matching set, I'll have to go ahead and order it.

I've got a theory about that, actually. It has something to do with the fact that 99.99% of the time that anyone mentions Joss Whedon, all they reference is Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Hell, even when talking about Angel most people still call it the "Buffyverse".

If more than a half-dozen of us fans would actually acknowledge that the man did more than just Buffy, it might help convince the Powers That Be that there's actually a market for an Angel Complete Collection.

Just a theory though...

Buffy is pretty inextricably entwined with Angel, though I understand your comments and always felt that it was a show that stood totally on its own merits, despite the crossovers of characters and events from BtVS. I actually prefer the term Whedonverse myself because it covers all of his projects. In truth, while I love Buffy, Angel got under my skin on such a deep level that I mourned more for that loss. It really took me by surprise.
