Joss Whedon Poll on LiveJournal. "The Daily Director" LiveJournal community - which polls opinions on directors every day - looks at Joss' work in features.

Obviously this is focued on his screenwriting, given you can't poll a one-film director.

You have to be a member of LiveJournal to fill out the poll.

Too bad they didn't mention Mr.Whedon for "Speed" (the original) for screenwritingin the poll, even though that "Boomtown" screenwriter was happy to take all the credit for that one. That one was pretty good, that never really gets mentioned much.
What never gets mentioned is the fact that he wrote a 1995 draft of Twister. I've never even heard him mention that in interviews or anything.

I'd love to hear the story behind that one...
Didn't he write quite a bit of 'Water' too?
Waterworld, which I don't think he would want to take credit for ;)
Well the poll covers officially credited work, which is fair enough because for a script doctor like Whedon, there would be a heap of other things listed. But how much of him is left? Yes, with "Speed" there was 90% of Joss' dialogue. But with "X-Men" - two lines.
