Overheard in NYC: Can prayer bring Buffy back? This mother doesn't think so.

I hope this post is allowed. I love this site and watch it daily. It never fails to amuse me. When I saw this one I just couldn't stop giggling. Even New Yorkers love Buffy!

Nope, I refuse to believe it -- in My world, My God hears My Buffy Prayers, and eventually They will Intercede. They just work in a little different time frame than the rest of us, is all.

Although I'm more inclined to think that lots of money, (LOTS of money), full creative control, and possibly scantily clad, but strong, women surrounding him, might be more efficacious.

It's basically an exchange from Futurama, I think even with similar named characters (Bender and Buffy). I still wonder if it's true, if only since I'm overly hopeful but I do still have pretty heavy doubts.

Fry: Is there anything religion can do to help me find my friend?
Pastor: Well, we could join together in prayer.
Fry: Uh huh, but is there anything useful we can do?

When I try to view the link, I get an error message saying that the file name is invalid. I also get several "close" file names, which was problematic because many of the entries were, shall we say, not work safe.
