No offense meant to anyone on this board, but if I had a choice, I think I'd take the Enterprise. After all, at least the United Federation of Planets makes noises about pluralism of customs, beliefs, and ways of life. I doubt the Alliance is as tolerant.

I see a lot of kids' drawings and while I think the stars were done by an adult, the rest is typical of a talented 6 year old.
Although I do suspect a slightly older sister did the printing and the hearts. But of course the Old World masters didn't do all of their paintings either!

Firefly Episode 20: 'Jayne and the Beanstalk' - Jayne stumbles onto a shipment of seeds for a medicinal plant difficult to grow in the core worlds which has natural effects on 'blood pressure' making them particularly saleable to older gentlemen. The rest of the crew, trying not to faint, realise the plan actually has some merit. Will things finally go smooth for Mal and his motley but lovable n'er do wells ?

Maybe it was just me, but the Enterprise-Serenity comment is related to the naming of the test shuttle to Enterprise, and it would be neat if there was something similar for Serenity. At least that is how I interpretted that comment.

And that drawing is neat, I wonder if NASA would ever consider decorating the next crew exploration vehicle like that. Any aliens passing by may be amused.

Well, we should at least name one of the freight haulers up to the ISS "Serenity"! That way, they could use it for smuggling on the way home. ;-)

Maybe this young person is Kaylee's ancestor, and the "eye" for design is hereditary? ;-)
