Coool. Man, Joss Whedon almost never walks past me sitting outside cafes. Plus, if he did i'd have to back away to at least 100 feet from him, appeal pending.

Not a bad week for those pamphlet thingies. There may even be an issue of 52 out, I lost track of the schedule.

No problem, although, apparently the bigger story is brian lynch meeting joss. I don't see how, can joss climb walls? can joss shoot webbing out of his wrists? does joss have a character who parodies him like peter porker, spider-ham?

I'd also be more impressed if brian met spider-man.

Hmm. If I were the stalker that I am made out to be on WHEDONesque, I would ask you what that favourite eatery is. But, since I'm not really a member of the Highly-Trained Precision Stalker Elite, I, of course, won't ask you that.

How nifty and serendipitous for you both. Wherever that eatery was or was not. In the Los Angeles area. Possibly near my house in WeHo, which I could get to within a half hour, if there was a reason to. Which there isn't, 'cause I'm not a stalker, so don't confuse me with gossi, who is.

Aaaanyway, looking forward to both Joss-y and Gaydos-y goodness. I pre-ordered. But will have to wait a day longer than you Americans. Curse the Atlantic Ocean!

And Joss may not have a parody like Peter Porker (cuz I can't think of a good Whedon-variant of that name), but Joss Whedon and His Amazing Friends? All the kids totally watch it.

"Stan Lee is the father of us all," Joss Whedon told CBR News. Whedon's story features art by Michael Gaydos and appears in "Stan Lee Meets Spider-Man," which is in stores today. "Which is why he's not running that fertility clinic any more - he's lucky he's not in jail. Honestly, he (and a few others, notably the King) created the template from which every one of us works. The Greeks had a wooden horse and a wicked long sea voyage - we have a radioactive spider and a much shorter space voyage (stupid cosmic rays). It's a real pleasure to be able to thank Stan for all we have, and to finally hit him up for those child support payments."

I have ordered my copy of 'Stan Lee Meets Spiderman' and 'Spike: Asylum', as well as a little more of 'Runaways' (which I am really enjoying and I look forward to reading Joss' continuation of the series). I can't believe how many comic books I'm collecting these days!
