SFX magazine review of 'Firefly: The Official Companion' vol 1. A shiny write-up.

We LOVE shiny write-ups :)
I preordered and have picked up my shiny companion. Someday I'll get a chance to read it! Work keeps getting in the way. I teach and am too braindead to read even comics at night. The only good thing about this schedule is that now I'm netflixing or otherwise checking out some awesome new TV on DVD. I'm saving my shiny new companion for some hours to savor every minute detail. And yeah, I agree that while the quality is exceptional, it's pretty much an effort to squeeze as much cash as possible from fans nutty enough to buy such products.

Well, of course - I'd worry if a business wasn't there to make money :o)

It's pretty shiny - well done TaraDi and friends.
Got mine on Monday and was very impressed. I don't mind them making more money out of us if we get stuff like this.
I agree, sorchasilver. I don't mind them squeezing my wallet when the product is good! ;)
Hey, I liked the interview with the holster maker! I really enjoy "How Things Work" type of articles, and I thought it was interesting reading how they make things look a certain way and why. And, sharin' the love for the Companion overall; it is entirely shiny! Buy it now if you haven't already! :-)
More to come in Vol. 2! We tried to make it as exhaustive as possible, hopefully making it worth it for fans and collectors in the end.
