Reminder: BlueSunShirts.com closes shop on Sunday, Oct. 8. The best-known purveyor of "Firefly" fan shirts leaves a farewell message on his site....

Dear Fellow Browncoats:

We have recently received notice from FOX requesting that we stop making these products, and since we are small and they are mighty, we will be closing this site and moving on to other things.

It has been an honor to produce these goods for you. We have sent shirts all over the world, and in the process had the opportunity to meet many of you in the Firefly community. The fine company will certainly be missed

We will be leaving the site open until Sunday, October 08 for anyone to place final orders. If anyone has need to exchange or return, we will be handling that for the foreseeable future. Anyone needing any fine quality screen printing, please feel free to contact us anytime.

As I keep mentioning, they have officially-licensed Blue Sun shirts now, which presumably is one of the reasons for the crackdown.

But what's puzzling is that the Serenity logo is on it. Wouldn't that mean it's licensed through Universal?
