Vote for Jewel Staite to play Pepper Potts in the upcoming Iron Man movie. Director Jon Favereau is asking people on his MySpace Iron Man blog who should play Tony Stark's secretary in the upcoming movie and several people have already chimed in with Jewel's name as she has the same basic features (except for the hair) as the comic character.

Personally? I have only read maybe one Iron Man comic in my life. And Virginia Potts wasn't featured that I am aware of.

Still...I think Jewel could really pull off the character from what I have seen in various Internet entries on the character. Maybe cuz Kaylee and Pepper share quite a few qualities, so that actually could mean Jewel would turn down the role if offered cuz it's a tad too similar in personality to Kaylee:(

But in the end, I support the suggestion:D

If you read through the nominees, Alyson Hannigan and Kristin Bell were two of the other names put forth. Not like Jewel is the only Jossverse alumni or associated young actress who could do the job.

I think the idea of casting Robert Downey Jr. an inspired piece of ironic genius. Now, if they can only keep him sober enough to film the parts when Tony Stark's *supposed* to be *on* the wagon...

Never been a huge Iron Man fan, so I'm not as familiar with Pepper as I could be, but from what I know Jewel seems like an inspired choice.
