Morena Baccarin on her Stargate SG-1 gig.
She loves playing "sweet, sick" evil, Adria could kick Inara's arse, and the
Dungeons & Dragons cartoon was Morena's favorite.

Nice interview. She's right that Stargate is more traditionally sci-fi than 'Firefly' though, maybe that puts some off. The way she talks about the end makes it sound at least possible that she'll be in the D2DVD movies.
(must say though, much as i'm glad BSG will be shown in one block it's a wee bit annoying that we have to wait until March for more Stargates)

Well not unless you live in the UK.

Aha, so Sky are showing them right the way through ? Cool.
(even allowing for Christmas breaks we should be near the end of the seasons by the time they restart in the US)

Stargate definitely appeals more to traditional SF fans who aren't necessarily watching it for the great writing. I know lots of Browncoats who would never consider watching either SG -- or at least not until Morena and Jewel showed up. I've been a fan from the beginning but it's as much out of habit because the writing is extremely uneven.

I am really in the minority? SG-1 (which my sister introduced me to before Firefly even aired) and Firefly are the only sci-fi shows I watch, unless you count Buffy ... which I personally don't. SG-1 is particularly great when you have an exam coming up and you need to unwind and turn off your brain. I just love the character interaction more than anything.
