Do you mean more like a photo-mosaic but using text lexigeek ? I've seen similar stuff where the design was created by bolding or colouring the text in different places.

Cool idea anyway.

(know what you mean Tonya J, Joss has never seemed all that 'angry' an atheist, in fact he seems quite moderate in most things, but then some see that sort of thing as pretty private so could be he's just never vented the way he'd like to in public. Also, maybe not all that great a career move ;)

Amazingly, no! Well, sort of. A friend of mine who I got into FF & Serenity, but who I don't think would characterize herself as a browncoat, was searching the Web for Joss quotes after I told her about this project, and she found that one. It was the first time she'd seen it!

I haven't seen the NYTimes article, as it was published before I was even aware there was a Joss Whedon. It looks like a good one. Must look it up.

It should be, yeah. I'm avoiding any and all copyright-infringing elements, unless "browncoat" infringes, which I'm hoping it doesn't when used to describe the fandom itself. I actually came up with this idea while pondering how to keep designing for browncoats while protecting myself from being eaten by roaming bands of copyright lawyers. :D

I'm more concerned about it actually reproducing well on a t-shirt, but that's another matter.
