A neat who-are-you Buffy Personality Test.
OkCupid.com uses four variables to decide which Buffy personality most fits you.
I got Glorificus
54% amorality, 63% passion, 54% spirituality, 27% selflessness
You probably have a complicated, multi-faceted personality. Kind of like Glory-Ben-Glorificus.
Passionate and driven with a spiritual side that comes out at times, a healthy taste for the finer things in life and a willingness to do what's necessary to achieve your ends. You're assertive and have no problems standing up for yourself. And, push come to shove, you're the closest anyone's ever come to straight-up beating the Slayer and her gang.

"Wesley is driven, and you might be, too. He seeks to achieve good by any means necessary.
Thus Wes, and you, are exactly the kind of people you want when the going gets tough. You're collected, realistic and won't hesitate to do even the messy work to get the job done. Despite it all, you have a sensitive core, and care deeply for your friends.
You're intelligent, a lover *and* a fighter."

36% selfless I don't get considering I was last seen running cackling down the street with armfuls of office supplies AND other people's money/cars (though why I was running when i'd just stolen a car I've no idea. Bad yes, bright ? Not so much ;).

I have to say, I'm rather surprised. I am a complete atheist. No other way to describe it, yet according to this I am 72% spiritual. Who knew?
Also, those who know me would disagree strongly with the only 27% selfishness and 45% amorality, though I am oddly noble... I also think that I'm more passionate than that. I always think of myself as most Anya-esque of all the BtVS characters.
Off I go now.

I'm a tad surprised, actually, as this tall ex-hippie-ish gal almost never wears the pointy high heels and my stick-straight hair has never had a curly perm... Oh, we're going deeper than the purely superficial?
Well, I have lost my temper once or twice in my life, and I've currently got a basement full of minions, and I'm blonde, and I am a bit of a parselmouth, and I look divine in red, and I like to drink mimosas in the bath, and I've been told I'm very god-like. Oh, yeah, and I'm pretty amoral, in a righteous, compassionate sortof a way.
But that's about it. I rarely kill, and almost never suck people's brains, unless I'm really hungry. So that part's right out.
"Passionate and driven with a spiritual side that comes out at times, a healthy taste for the finer things in life and a willingness to do what's necessary to achieve your ends. (His Purple Postage being a Faith is pretty nifty, but it would be cool if people would post the descriptions of their various character-personalities so we could see more about what each means... And thanks jclemens, for the additional tests.)

Nobody got her jokes - I'm pretty sure 92% of people don't get mine in real life, but they're funny to me -- and from me.
So, take that Dawn hat-ahs!

Interesting. Do not be fooled by his rough exterior; Adam was much deeper than most have given him credit for. Like most, he sought answers to the harder questions of existence: who am I? what is my purpose? You might ask those same questions, yourself.
Like Adam, you're calm, and dispassionately work to achieve your ends.
Also, you may just have a nuclear core.

in any case, there were about 2 questions on that test where i didn't feel absurdly limited by the choices. i get that thats part of the way these things work, but i mean, its not exactly that difficult to point out that its both difficult to follow a strict code of ethics AND that every situation is unique. (i mean every situation being unique MAKES following a code of ethics difficult.) The capitalism vs. communism question reminded me of a question on the new york state mandated economics exam everyone takes at the end of middleschool/beginning of high school. one of the questions was: the best way to achieve economic development in a third world country is a.) immediate market liberalization b.) command economic structure c.) leave it alone and d.) i forget. Obviously they wanted you to choose (a) and the little booklet they gave you to study had stated (a) directly. Its also patently, from just about every historical case, false. So you're left there between choosing what you KNOW to be the answer that will get you the perfect score and what you KNOW to be a much better answer (every development success story has had a strong govt hand in economics.) I think I took the bullet and said (b) as some small act of rebellion.
ajay42 | November 16, 10:21 CET
I can't presume to speak for Joss, but if my opinion after reading a bunch of interviews means anything - and I'm not sure it should - I'm happy to give it.
He said in one interview that Neil Young’s “Decade” is one of his all-time favourite albums, he likes musicals, including "Brigadoon" but especially Sondheim's, and a mix-tape he made to give to Serenity composer David Newman contained: Jill Sobule, some Hans Zimmer, Ian Ritchie, Tracy Chapman, some Indigo Girls, "God's Song" by Randy Newman, and "Black Peter" by the Grateful Dead. He's referred to himself as a "Dead Head" and said that he likes "earthy girl-rock." He said he adores Nickel Creek with "a fiery vengeance," and he loves violins and cellos.
I don't know if one can extrapolate his opinion of metal from any of that, but that's all I got...)

GLORY: "Never send a minion to do a god's work." - Blood Ties
BEN: "To what? What is she going to do? Send a six-pack of minions to bore me to death?" - Blood Ties
GLORY: "Mmm ... Vitamins... So I think you better rack your little minion brains, and tell me everything that you saw when you were spying on Buffy and her wacky pals." -- Tough Love
GLORY: "Hey! Minions, I can hear you. God-like ears don't miss much, you know what I'm sayin'?" -- The Weight of the World

So then -- us sweaty-naughty-feelings-causing Glorifici will be wanting each and every minion we're entitled to, no more or no less. Fair's fair.
That's at least about a six-pack of minions for each of us...

Hee-hee, TonyaJ, agreed. I think a defining characteristic of a minion is a rather cringing subservience, so you'd hardly fit that bill, either as "Dawn" or TonyaJ.
I was thinking of using Craig's List, but if the other Glorifici want to go in with me, we can consider buying in bulk. I'd just like to avoid the leprous and the lumpy.

I hate to say this about Craigslist but ... I'm thinking you could probably find some minions there. And I was ruminating after reading through this thread that I don't think I ever really fully appreciated Glorificus as much as I could have in the first couple of viewings of that arc. Her uber vain-ness is a throwback to my guilty pleasures movie viewing like the old Harryhausen films or something somewhat more recent like Clash of the Titans where the Greek Gods look down from the Heavens laughing and cruelly manipulating the poor mortals for their own amusement. That Glory had a keen fashion sense on top of that was just gravy.
