(SPOILER) And the Black Christmas carries on... Two new posters released for the horror remake flick starring Michelle Trachtenberg. The second European one is VERY spoilerific for Michelle's character and very gory. So basically enjoy!

Great posters. The second one is up there with the one for Nick Brendon's The Unholy. I'm assuming Todliche Nacht means "deadly night".
Props to the designer who did these posters, because their very creeply neat.
Great posters - but, almost uniformly, comments about the movie seem very negative. Anybody seen any positive comment about it?
Totally cool posters!

Bonus: This answers the highly sought after question about how Dawny would look as a Bringer.
What does it say about me that I looked at the first one and said to myself. "Aww I love Christmas Lights." I think I've seen one too many horror movies.
Hmm.. I wouldn't have known it was spoilerific if you hadn't said so. A case for spoiler warnings best not being too specific?
$100 says the film isn't a third as good as the original Black Christmas (and I liked Glen Morgan's Willard).
I don't like to be pessimistic considering I do think Michelle has potential as an actress, but I'm not anticipating this film at all. As if most of the original horror films that Hollywood churns out aren't bad enough, the industry also feels the need to remake any existing horror film, regardless of whether it was a good film to begin with. I'm sure it won't be too long before we'll be watching remakes of remakes.

That said, the posters are quite cool, particularly the first one. It's cool to see the juxaposition between the terrified girl and the Christmas lights. However I don't hold out much hope for the film being too impressive.

Yes, Simon. "Stille Nacht, Tödliche Nacht" is "Silent Night, Deadly (or Fatal) Night." The original lyrics of the song go "Stille Nacht, Heilige Nacht" (Silent Night, Holy [or Sacred] Night), so "Stille Nacht, Höllische Nacht (...Hellish Night) might be a better play on the carol. But either way, whoa. Those posters certainly get one's attention.

Sadly, that's probably true. Someone will come along and make a noncampy version of Charlie's Angels as pure action. Plus sequels. Rocky 6 and Rambo "4" (Rambo 3: First Blood Part 4) are actually happening.
Ronald Moore is remaking John Carpenter's remake of The Thing :)
