"Firefly" Mini-Marathon on Sci-Fi December 12th. Eight episodes are airing on the Sci-Fi Channel on December 12th, starting at 8:00 a.m. Eastern.

The Train Job
War Stories
The Message
Heart of Gold
Objects in Space

Hmmm... Odd that they're airing Trash, but not Our Mrs. Reynolds. Perhaps Saffron was a bit too racy for the SciFi Channel, hmm?

No matter, I'm showing it tomorrow night here in Austin ;>
On a Tuesday? Why must they run these marathons on work-days, dangit? But, I'm glad they're still running Firefly sometimes. It's okay that I still hate FOX for cancelling it, right?
I'm with zencat. Why do they always run these things in the daytime on workdays/schooldays? I don't mind a marathon, but why not do it on a Saturday? Or why not pick a night and run the series as intended so more people can see it?!
And I believe it's that OMR is probably a bit "racy" for the daytime. Not that it has anything to do with SciFi Channel.
There's far racier stuff on the network daytime Soaps.
Is it really much racier than Heart of Gold? *shrug*

Thanks for letting us know- I finally got my mom to watch Serenity, and she loved it. She gave me hell last time I forgot to tell her there was a Firefly marathon, so she's going to get her DVR set up to record this for her.
Action-wise no, but all of those *ahem* speeches that she gives are definitely inspiring in the pantular region!
