Firefly's Mark Shepard is on this week's Battlestar Galactica podcast. This week's podcast is the Battlestar roundtable which answers fans' questions and also includes cast members Jamie Bamber, James Callis and Tahmoh Penikett (71.3 mb download).

Okay, this is going to bug me forever if I don't ask...but who the heck is Mark Shepard? I thought I knew all Joss-related cast & crew members, but I'm not familiar with him.
He plays Badger in Firefly.
He is also probably one of the most interesting people you could ever want to meet.
Oh okay! But who is he on BSG? Obviously I'm out of the loop...
MindPieces, he hasn't appeared on the show yet. He'll show up sometime this season.
It's up on iTumes. I'm downloading it now.
Mark will be in the final 3 episodes for this season of BSG, so you'll only see him sometime around Spring 2007. Although, they do mention the name of his character when he introduces himself during the first minutes of the roundtable.

That's not really this week's podcast, is seems mostly like a special episode, like they did sometime ago with those writer meetings.

Another thing (which I bet Simon or Caroline will be able to answer), I wonder if it wouldn't be best to change the link for this thread to the season 3 podcast page(, instead of a direct link to the mp3 file, which is pretty large (73MBs), not really easy to deal with, if someone has a slow connection (not really my case, especially because I got it directly from the podcast feed). The Roundtable is the last item in the podcast list. Plus the roundtable, although interesting, is almost 3 hour long, not exactly the lightest listening.

A very sensible suggestion Numfar PTB, I've made the changes.
