I'll betcha if Jewel had been there, Jonathan might have had a dance partner when he climbed up on the bar Saturday night!

Well, guess that means we Browncoats just gotta arrange another Bash next year, and make darn sure Jewel can be there. Browncoats give good shindig... heh..

Meltha- I know the Bedlam Bards turned down 3 weekends (they would have had to commit to 3 weekends to get the gig) at a renaissance faire and one weekend at another con. So it sucks for them.

But on the other hand, I can't wait for Darkcon. I will be there with my parasol in hand.

I managed to miss this because I was at dinner with people from the Goners boards:

Sunday night at the Hilton, nearly 70 B3 attendees participated in a raffle benefiting Fringe Theatre Adventures, a non-profit organization in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The donations totaled approximately $1500, and were made in honor of Nathan's next birthday!

I'm very fond of her, in as creepy a way as that can be construed ;-). Also sort of worried about what I said about 'Tribe' now cos if it was pre-Coffee it may not have been entirely flattering ;).

The Stargate character sounds pretty cool too, wonder if she'll be a Doogie Howser style prodigy or a more acerbic Chloe (from '24') style genius cos they'd both be fairly different characters to what i've seen her play (which'd be great). Gonna miss Paul McGillion though, I liked Beckett (and that he was Scottish - dodgy accent excepted ;) - since it made the show feel more internationalist) but as Ms. Staite states (ahem ;), in sci-fi no-one dies forever.

(also, how cool is it that Paul McG lives in the same building as Jewel's Mum ? Guess Canada must be like Scotland, everyone knows everyone else ;)

Why yes saje, I know all of the 1.5 million people in Vancouver! And I am on the other side of the country in montreal! :P

And browncoats truely rock...1500 was given to the organization, and all those items were doanted to the raffle. Even after such an ordeal ,the browncoats continually amaze me.
