Good Works Presents featured in Edmonton Journal. The charity drive to benefit Edmonton's Fringe Fest in honour of Nathan Fillion's Birthday is featured in this article(and linked to on the front page). So far $2200 canadian has been raised(and his birthday is still 3 months away). The article also mentions that the organization had a charity raffle at the firefly "convention".

This is awesome, and the article really features why it is great to be in fandom. Along with all the stories from the B3, this just caps the uber-rocking of the fandom.

"Being fans has morphed into trying to build positive things for the community," she says by phone from her home just outside Washington, D.C. "We wanted to do something more active than just appreciating his movies."
