I can't wait to see what's going to happen. I'll be waiting at my comic store when it opens to grab my copy. Please, Brian, say it ain't so!

Related news - based on strong hints from Brian Lynch and Chris Ryall, nice guy and editor at IDW , looks like we're in for a treat in the Spring - another Whedonverse comic from Brian and Franco. This, plus the new Buffy series, it'll almost be like the shows are back on TV.

I can't wait! I just adore this series. Infact I have to say this is the most entertaining Buffyverse comic that I've ever did read.

Wonderful, wonderful stuff. And I love that first artwork cover too!
Do you have any idea how hard it is not to click on the link?!?! Don't want to be spoiled, though...so patience. I agree that this is the best Buffyverse comic so far, plus more Spike always makes me happy!! Happy Holidays!!
Comic art does not catch my attention but cover #1 sure did. I really like that.

Does that indicate there is something wrong with me?
Spike Asylum has turned into my favourite Angel/Spike comic from IDW yet and I can't wait till I can pick this up tomorrow.
Thanks guys. This is a BIG issue, so much stuff happens...

...hope you like!
Well, so long as it's as good as 1-3 I reckon we will (is there any way you can get them to take those damned words off though Brian ? They keep getting in the way of Franco Urru's lovely art ... kidding ;-), part of what's made it the most consistent and coherent Spike series so far, IMO, is the way each of your respective 'stuff' complements the other's).

Car's off the road though so it's gonna be Saturday, dag nabbit (should that be hyphenated ? And what the hell does it mean anyway ? ;).
Got my issue today and it didn't disappoint ! Story and Art as incredible as always - Wonderful mix of action, humour and tragedy. Great news about a possible new series.
Just read issue #4 last night. Lots to discuss - but most of my comments/questions would spoilers for those who haven't read it yet. Lots of action - and a great Spike moment.

I'll post my spoilery comments over at whedonesque.org. Hope that others who read this will comment there also, once this thread falls off the front page, since there is lots to talk and speculate about in this issue.

One comment - how does the fact that the facility is in the middle of the desert keep the vampires from escaping? Since they don't breathe, a vampire could dig a hole (super-strength and all) shortly before sunrise and bury him/herself until the sun goes down. No need to stand around waiting for the sun to burn him/her to a crisp.

By the way, loved the little spiny demon in issue #3 - if you get a chance, please bring it back. A brief cameo (and cool use of it by Spike in the shower fight) but it had so much personality.
Hee, I've had mine since Dec 9th! Isn't it fabulous?
*gleefully rubs hands together*
No spoilers here, but I absolutely adore the 1st cover (which luckily was the one I received).

This series just keeps getting better. Thanks so much Brian & Franco.
Another great issue, I especially loved the scenes with Lorne which were absolutely hilarious.
