Investigating Firefly and Serenity. A collection of 'Verse essays coming soon. Read the proposed table of contents over at Slayage.

I've already cleared room on the Whedon shelf for this one! Rhonda Wilcox has been called (seriously) "the mother of Buffy studies" and she's a dedicated Whedonian. Her "Why Buffy Matters" is a must-read, I think. From what I know of the contribtuors, this'll be a keeper for any Browncoat who enjoys looking deeply into the 'verse.
Yipeee! The preliminary choices for essays sound great. And having read Ms. Wilcox's work before, I know we'll be in for a treat. Can't wait!
I was very impressed by Rhonda Wilcox at Slayage last spring. Not only is her work of great quality, but she's also one of those lecturers you can't help but enjoy listening to. Lovely woman. She has my utmost respect. Looking forward to this.
Definitely gonna have to have this!
Wow, how can we get this? Will they sell it on Amazon?
There's nothing at the publisher's site yet but once pre-order info comes out I'm sure someone will post a link about it.
Everybody already have a copy of another book of Firefly essays: Finding Serenity: Anti-Heroes, Lost Shepherds and Space Hookers in Joss Whedon's Firefly

Finding Serenity at

Shiny, Amazon has the Search Inside feature on for the book.
