Brief "Waitress" article and picture from Sundance. The cast talks about the late writer/director/star Adrienne Shelly. Nathan is pictured along with his costars.

I saw "Waitress" last night at Sundance and it was excellent! Nathan was perfect for the role. It was far and away the best movie I saw at the festival this year. Though "In The Shadow of the Moon" was also excellent.

During the Q & A I asked the producer why they hired Nathan for that role, since it was pretty far from his Firefly or Slither roles. My favorite part of his answer was, "I haven't met a woman yet who wouldn't leave her husband for a few minutes with that man."

Oh and in case it hasn't been mentioned already on Whedonesque, the producer of "Waitress" said that Fox Searchlight picked up their film the night before. So we should be seeing more of Nathan on the big screen sometime this summer.

I just read a very nice review of Waitress on the Daily Variety website, with, bonus, a photo of Nathan and Keri Russell from the movie. Warning, the review really has some SPOILERS. Yay Nathan! :-)

That's hysterical...and so true! Oops. Wait. Uh, thanks for sharing that funny comment. I have noticed several journalists starting out their remarks concerning Waitress completely professionally, only to become completely unraveled when they they begin discussing Nathan.
