Actors all have their own unique careers, and while I certainly wish the best for him and to keep working steadily in quality projects, it's entirely possible Nathan Fillion will never be famous in the same vein as Brad Pitt or Leonardo DiCaprio. And when I think about it on his behalf (please excuse my utter presumption) would he really want to be thrust into that glaring spotlight of no privacy, having his personal life inspected and dissected, written about and photographed ad nauseum, his mug on the front of The National Enquirer and The Star? No, no, no, I almost hope that doesn't happen for him, but if it does, I expect he'll handle it all with the same easy grace he has exhibited up to this point.

ETA: The above has been swirling around in my brain since that other thread with the list of unappreciated actors was posted. Nathan will certainly always have a loyal following of his talent. To us he is a big, freaking star.

And Tonya J, we are his personal minions who he can command to do just about anything(within reason and that does not upset our ethical standards). I mean how awesome is that? I wish I had minions to command...*sigh* And I loved that bit about being on Drive for 7 seasons even if it is cancelled.

I would never wish super-stardom on my own worst enemy, much less Nathan! What a freaky, icky life that seems to be. I only hope for him to be highly respected among his peers and well-known enough so that he will always have excellent material to act in and a very nice income for himself. Mainly, I wish for him to remain happy and nice always.

Just got back from "Letters from Iwo Jima". Good movie, but "The Departed" is still Best Picture in my mind.
As for Nathan, it makes sense he should be on "Lost" again at Kate's cop hubby. He'll just be...well...on the road for a while before we seem him again. Besides, that show is supposed to last seven years.
If he doesn't become a superstar, how about "reliable go-to guy" that David Boreanaz is becoming?

Oh, yes! There was a story there on Lost, and it ain't over. Well, technically it *is* over because it was a flashback :) Would love to see Nathan back on Lost and can hardly stand the wait for Drive. Kevin Williamson....cool.
