Christian Kane's band Kane wins New Country Artist of the Year for 2006. Voting is over and Kane won with 37.9% of the vote. Update: Offical announcement is on the New Country site now.

I'm glad they pulled through. They were trailing by a bit when I voted. I've enjoyed Kane ever since I heard Mr. Kane singing LA Song on Angel.
