I don't think any of those "candidates" will get the part. Just a hunch. Although if I had to pick one, Morenna completely stands apart from the rest of them (yet I worry she might be too old?).

Aside from Morena and Charisma (both of whom I would, of course, love to see in the role), I can really imagine the gorgeous Jordana Brewster as Wonder Woman. Just saying.

I've stopped getting excited about speculation on the role since the script weirdness. I don't think Whedon's film will happen. I'll believe it again when casting starts or after Joss says it's still a go (not to be interpreted as a plea for him to post!!!).

I have to say that Morena is the clear stand out in that list of actresses, simply put the other actresses are just too white, Wonder Woman is meant to be Amazon, not a cheer leader.

Honestly, I don't think Morena has the acting chops to carry a whole movie. (Don't kill me. I've just seen her in enough roles to wonder about this.)

By the time this movie gets made, maybe my 13-year-old daughter will be a contender...

I don't watch Grey's Anatomy, but ever since I recently re-watched episode one of Roswell, with Isabelle in her Superheroish costume, its all about Katherine Heigel to me.
Yeah she would need a little hair dye but she would totally rock the costume.

Wonderwoman for me needs to be Amazonian, tall, big, statuesque, un-scrawny, regal.
Charisma fit the physical type but I believe she is too old now.

I've never watched the OC either and I have to ask, does that Mischa Barton chick always look like an alien?

Jessica Alba looks great but can't act well enough.

My understanding of the Amazonian legends is that they were rather pale, blonde even. Since people combine the Greekness of the legends with the South Americanness of the later named geographic area though, it seems like WW could be just about any color as long as she is physically imposing and makes you believe she is WW.

...oh, and cheerleaders aren't just white anymore and not all pretty white women are cheerleaders.

I'd like him to go with an unknown, anyone else would come with baggage, whether it's their stardom or their dubious tv history (I'm not thinking of morena or charisma there but the others).

plus if she's meant to be young they were all playing teenagers 10 years ago and weren't exactly in the throes of puberty at the time ;)

I thought most of those choices were the writers just throwing up every hot young starlet for the hell out of it, save for the only two that really make sense, Charisma and Morena. Noone of the rest are remotely right for the role- though Angelina Jolie would guarantee box office.

Morena was so above all the others until that last one: Michelle Monaghan indeed would make a great Wonder Woman. The thing is to imagine how any of them would look when miffled. That's the emotion you'll be needing when arriving from Amazon society. She has a great miffling face. Morena also was a fine miffler.
