Variety reveals Adam Baldwin in NBC pilot.
He's part of the cast of "Chuck", which is produced by the creator of "The O.C." and will be directed by McG. Not much about what the show is about. However, it says that Adam was part of "The Nine" rather than "Day Break".

Good to see the big man maintaining the flow after 'Daybreak' ended and if it's in the same vein as 'Grosse Pointe Blank' and anywhere near as good, then count me in.
(also nice to see Kevin McKidd
remaking 'Quantum Leap'/'Seven Days'in a new show about time travel. Always seemed a shame he didn't get more opportunities after 'Trainspotting' but 'Rome' might be just the second chance he needed)Saje | February 08, 14:52 CET

Just realized - it adheres to the Whedon "high school is hell with a great soundtrack and clever dialogue" theme - except with more guns (and pens). And in this case it's the high school reunion with professional killers.
If any of you haven't seen this film - do so!

I dunno, Sean Maher's done something like 7 series in the last few years. Most of 'em for FOX. Most didn't actually, you know, air.
Adam and Alan are great character actors, and deserve the work they get.

How cool would it be if it was a scene with Adam?!?!

That would be the coolest.
And yay for Adam! I hope he plays a bad guy. He so good when he's bad.
;)

Is he the hot square-jawed blonde guy who was also in Dog Soldiers ? I've seen Trainspotting a couple times, but I can't remember his role. Keep meaning to watch Rome on TV, but now that it's in its second and final season, guess I'll just catch up on DVD. That and The Wire are the only HBO dramas I'm not on board with yet.

Heh, he didn't sink that many dramas (I say, I find your hyperbole to be, um...overly hyperbolic!). Aside from Firefly, he was the lead in Ryan Caulfield: Year One and part of the ensemble in The $treet. That's it for main parts on TV though. I think The $treet aired half of its 12 episodes and Ryan Caulfield only had a couple of its 7 eps shown. Those were both in `99/2000 and then Firefly didn't come along until 2002, and since then he's had pretty much just Serenity, that Living 'Til the End movie I still really wanna see, and a made-for-TV John Stamos flick. And a guest spot each on CSI: Miami (watched that one, he played sleaze nicely but I hate that series) and Ghost Whisperer. Was kinda hoping/optimistic that he'd be discovered and highly acclaimed by now, or at least have a few stellar indie flicks under his belt.

Yeah, that's him (good film 'Dog Soldiers', BTW, nice mix of funny, cool and horror). He played Tommy in 'Trainspotting', the guy who liked football and thought they were all daft to do drugs but then gets sucked in and ironically ends up addicted just as the rest of them are getting off the stuff (or dead). Not as flashy a part as the others and so probably a bit harder to play in some ways.

Anyone else wanna try and guess how long the show will last.
Sounds like it'll be good if it survives.
