How I Met Your Mother Season 1 on sale at Borders. The show starring Alyson Hannigan is out on DVD. Also on sale is Firefly.

Did anyone see Aly on The Grammys last night?!?! She looks like a totally different person! Still gorgeous, but I liked her look a lot better before the cheek implants and nose job. Sigh...
It's a few bucks cheaper at amazon. I did see her last night on the red carpet show and she looked decidedly ... different. I did enjoy her telling the interviewer that she's doing her cardio workouts these days on a pogo stick, though.
I got it at Costco for $22. Just saying.
karosurly, that WAS funny and the imagery was *priceless.* One thing about Aly that hasn't changed a bit is her self-deprecating sense of humor. :-)
THANK YOU! I keep meaning to pick this up, and since I just got a borders gift card for ma b-day, this is perfect.
Hey, wait a minute. The price at Borders according to the link above is $31.99, but according to this e-flyer, it's actually $19.99 today through Wednesday. Go forth and purchase!

Still can't decide whether to buy this, I love the show, but just holding out hope that the R2 release will have the widescreen version. Just doesn't make sense that a show that is produced and aired in widescreen, should get a full-screen release.
It should be included that firefly is also on sale for $20.

EDIT: Nevermind, I saw the firefly refrence at the end.

As the email I got from Borders today says Perfect Gift for Valentine's Day! See the e-flyer link karosuly posted above.

Firefly on sale everywhere Or at least it seems like it...

Ghost Spike: The R4 DVD is only 4:3. :/ And apparently a lot of the music that they used isn't in it because they weren't able to get the rights to it or some such, and there's a bunch of filler music instead.

I'm just going to stick with the rips I've downloaded, I think.
