SMG mention on Perez Hilton. Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton makes a rare mention of SMG congratulating her on 5 years with husband Freddie Prinze Jr.

I think marriage is difficult at best for any couple but the fact that I never hear about Sarah and Freddie on entertainment news shows or in the tabloids as I stand at the grocery store checkout line (not that I seek them out) speaks for itself as far as marriage longevity. They look very happy. I sincerely hope they are not like Reese and Ryan since they've been separated for months and are divorcing.
Maybe they just mean SMG & Freddie are taking over Reese & Ryan's spot... heh.

Great ad for marriage! :~P

Hubby and I are, coincidentally, going on our 5th anniversary as well, and we've found marriage to be the best thing ever. We never understand those couples who say that marriage is hard work. If you have to work so hard, maybe you haven't found the right one!

(But ask me again after the 7 year itch! :~D )

Congrats Sarah and Freddie. May you only ever have to work at your jobs!

I think that was his intention as well, which I guess was kind of a curse. Then again, R&R were considered more of a golden couple and got a lot more publicity. I do hope SMG and FPJ beat the odds and prove all the naysayers wrong. They seem to complement one another.

I think people misunderstand the use of the term "work". Like all relationships, marriage requires a certain kind of maintenance and nurturing, making sure communication is in tact, that needs are being met, etc. And in the best of situations, this "work" is being done without any thought and seem effortless. Still, it would be work. Just the better kind :)

Congrats to SMG and her Hubby. Nobody deserves happiness more than our girl.
I second that cheryl!

I guess in the sense that just living your life takes work, but marriage shouldn't be 'hard' work. I've only ever heard that it's hard work from people who were having problems. As you say, any work should be effortless, but not hard. And I think if you notice it as work, it's too hard! 'Course, that's not to say I'd begrudge EdDantes picking up his own underwear off the floor from time to time... :~P
Well congrats to you both, Rogue Slayer and tell EdDantes we miss him here. He doesn't post near often enough anymore.
And I like SMG's top/dress/whatever. It looks comfy.
Well, I wish a congrats to Sarah and Freddie. My best of wishes to them.

Rogue Slayer, I wish to echo Lioness' thoughts, the room misses both you and Ed Dantes in our discussions. The truth of the matter is, you two are great and we miss your words in the room. So please come back.
I would say "congrats" but I dont want to jinx another hollywood couple!
You could *see* that? All I get is a stupid shut-down.

And I know I'm cynical but I think whatever list the Prinzes are on is a little far down the alphabet for the gossip rags to care about anyway.
