Jesus likes Serenity. Sorta. Scroll down to 'Movies That Said They Didn't Know Me Right Before The Rooster Crowed...'.

I want that Zoe poster.
You can find the original posters (including files suitable for viewing individually and printing) at: http://the11thhour.home.att.net/
Thanks gt0163c!
It wasn't just the movie. I was checking out a few of the other entries, and found this comment:
This last clip only made the cut because I'm a Firefly fan. Represent! In regards to his story, I bring life to the full. Holla!

"I hold Whedon up to higher standards than most, simply because he is better than most, so when this film was not as good as The Empire Strikes Back, Whedon let Me down."

C'mon, the Empire Strikes Back wasn't that good.

I think he did a good job considering all of the backstory he had to incorporate for it to make sense to anyone.

I have to be honest. I saw the movie first. And the entire time, for the life of me, I could not figure out what a really dressed up chic (Inara) was doing hanging out with a bunch of bandits.
It baffled me until I saw the series.
I think it's a good sign when the only negative thing about the movie is that it's not as good as ESB.
Apparently Jesus has Blogged about Joss Before:

"5. Astonishing X-Men – This is just about my favorite X-Men comics ever. Granted, Jesus Christ is in love with Joss Whedon… but it makes sense, that guy is a gift to all things pop culture!"

And Here:

"I loved the show Firefly. It was a sad day for humanity when Fox pulled the plug midway through their first season. Up here in Heaven, I can just about get everything I want, so I was able to create a 7 Season DVD box set of Whedon produced Firefly. If you are a fan and get your name in My book, I'll let you rent them when you get up here. They are amazing. If you have yet to watch this show, do yourself a favor and buy the first season DVD's from Amazon. It's worth it. If you consider yourself to not be a fan of science fiction, let this show be your exception.

I want that seven-season boxed set of Whedon-produced Firefly, even if it takes a Miracle.
Thanks for this link - I'm loving the whole site!
Wow, and here I've been a skeptic about Jesus' taste. Who'd have thought a 7 season DVD would've been the impetus to my conversion. ;)
And, Jesus predicted how much Daniel Craig would rock as Bond! I'd figured any guy whose first miracle was turning water into wine at a party would be cool to hang with--and, there you go. ;)

Putting it on the record, if we do get a 7-season DVD box set, it will be a miracle and I will BELIEVE.

Easy: Mysterious woman from the hero's past whom the antagonist uses to draw out the hero. Classic noir. ;)
I love the Volver poster! hahaha. Kind of scary...
Does this mean I have to convert? :)
@theonetruebix

Cheeky monkey.

I guess what I meant is I don't recall the movie explaining the part about Inara's character being a companion. So I never really understood her character when I saw the film or understood why she was dressed up all of the time.

Yeah, they didn't really, although it's implied in the capture Mal watches about Inara packing up her shuttle. Really, I was just, yeah, being cheeky, because structurally (narratively?) speaking, it was irrelevant who Inara was, specifically. Heh.

That Inara. Nothin but eye candy.
;)
Eye candy?? That eye candy went to Mal's defense in Serenity against the Operative!! She'd probably kick any one of our tiny little hineys (promises, promises).

I never knew Jesus was a Browncoat. A DVD boxset of all 7 seasons? Represent, Dude! ;-)
Yessir. I'll perform numerous acts of contrition, collusion, even contradiction if we can get that boxed set. Yes please!
