2007 Browncoat Ball in Philadelphia to happen September 28th - 30th, 2007. More details will be released in the weeks to come. Many thanks go to "Tequila" Matt (Programming Chair for 2007 Browncoat Ball) of the Delaware Valley Brigade and the volunteers of the PA Browncoats for all their hard work.

Yay! I'd love to go to this, but do we have to bring someone? I don't think my husband even knows what a Browncoat is (or that I am one).
Omg, a Browncoat thing on the East coast?! Eee! *flail*
The site's kinda breaking, though. Did it get all Whedonesque'd?
Nebula - No, you don't have to bring anyone. But if you just tell him it's a vacation to Philly and a dinner/dance event, you can fool him into becoming a fan of the fans even before he's a fan of the series. :)
I should also point out that we're now accepting bids for hosting the 2008 Browncoat Ball. Bids from potential host cities are due 30 April 2007. Click on "Future Events" on the BrowncoatBall.com site for more details.

RayHill,

Do you know how many people normally attend?
Congratulations to Philadelphia!

So, when Browncoats run up the "Rocky steps" at the Philadelphia Museum of Art (there's a law that tourists have to), after the instrumental part of the Rocky theme replace

"Gonna FLY now
Flying HIGH now
Gonna fly, fly, fly..."

with

"We're still FLY-ing
It's not MUCH but
It's e-nough, -nough, -nough..."

Then commence a whole mess a' gasping and wheezing.
