Waitress premieres USA, France April 27, 2007. It may start as a limited release in USA but I don't think it is going to stay that way. Whoo-hoo! Nathan Fillion on the Big Darn Screen!

That's great news. Will the US release dates count for Canada as well, or will that be a separate thing if it comes across the border?
My personal guess is that since it played well at Sundance and The Comedy Arts Festival, it'll be at quite a few "Art Houses" at first. I imagine how well it does there will determine it's overall Distribution. As for the Canada question... Beats me.

From what I remember since I began storing this kind of stuff in my head (sometime after September 30, 2005) , Canada is not a separate release. Also when Imdb.com and Box Office Mojo report box office figures, Canada and USA are together as one figure.

Do you remember if Serenity was released in Canada on September 30, 2005?
