(SPOILER) First Look: Runaways #25. The first five pages of Joss' first issue of Marvel's "Runaways." The book is due out April 4.

From Comics Continuum:

Runaways #25 will arrive in stores on April 4 from Marvel Comics. The issue is written by Joss Whedon, with art by Michael Ryan and a cover by Jo Chen.

Here's how Marvel describes the issue:

"The kids start running in a different direction as the new creative team of Joss Whedon and Michael Ryan take the Runaways to the Big Apple. While there, they make surprising allies and even more surprising enemies."

Runaways #25 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.99.

I miss those kids already!
That art is absolutely gorgeous. Really incredible.
I love the art, and I am REALLY excited about Joss' take on 'Runaways'. I love these kids and I hope that someone else will adopt them after this up-coming arc (assuming any of them survive of course).
I just started reading Runaways and also got my niece hooked on it. I'm looking forward to see what Joss does with these characters. Though I tried (not very hard, mind you) to resist, I was weak and looked at the previews. I agree, the art is amazing. So clean and crisp.

So much comic goodness coming our way.
I only started reading Runaways when Joss was announced as the next writer but I've enjoyed it so much I'd keep reading even without any Joss involvment.
These pages with dialogue were already posted a while ago.
Actually, the last two are brand new. And it's always nice to see them "clean" of their dialogue.
Did I miss an issue? Wasn't the last issue finishing with Iron Man and some militia waiting for the Runaways in their HQ?

I also started reading the "Walk Towards"-as Joss called them-with the announce of his involvement and it's a great comic. Can't wait to see where the master will take them.
There is the RUNAWAYS SAGA that features a new story (which might take place between #24 and #25), but I expect all will be explained before long.
