Shawna Trpcic working on K-Ville pilot. Shawna Trpcic, the costume designer for Firefly, is in New Orleans working on a pilot for a post-Katrina police drama called K-Ville.

Shawna is a wonderfully nice and down to earth person and I'm glad to hear that she's working on a project. Will keep fingers crossed that the show will be picked up.

If Ray comes back and reads this, are you the same person I spoke with at B3 in the costume room? If there's a way to send private messages through here, I'm unfamiliar with how to do it.

I am excited for anyone to get to wear Shawna's creations. But where in this article does it mention her. I read every page and did not see her name.

Yeah, sorry. It doesn't mention her in the article. She forwarded the link to the article in an email, and I thought everyone would like to hear the news. She's working on the project with Kelly Manners, who she worked with on Point Pleasant, The Madness of Jane, and some vampire show called Angel. :-)
