Serenity at Indianapolis International Film Festival. Serenity, Done the Impossible, and much more will be part of the festival!

Hmm. I wonder if this is why there does not appear to be any Indiana cities listed for June's charity screenings.
I know several Indiana Browncoats were working on ideas for a charity screening, but I'm not sure many knew this was coming.
(Anyway, don't get me wrong, I don't think an April festival event in any way precludes an end-of-June charity screening at all.)
Well, as one of the two people who organized and planned the one held in Bloomington last year, I can pretty much predict that there won't be a June screening this year. Sad to say, it's been a bit like the kid's story of "The Little Red Hen". Plenty of people want to GO to a screening, but hardly anyone wants to work on the project. I'll be trying to get something going in Bloomington in September, for the Firefly Fifth Birthday and Serenity's 2nd Birthday. -And I actually knew about this particular event, but it was so long ago that it completely slipped my mind.

If any Indiana Browncoats read this, take umbrage, and want to do a June Screening, please feel free to contact me and I'll HELP you prove me wrong! :D

And, yes, you can go to see it twice. I know I will. I miss my Big Damn Heroes and I can't wait to watch them in the theatre once again. Shindig anyone??

Stay tuned for more details, as we continue with more Joss-obsessed festvial announcements!

I think we've got Brownocoats there. Maybe they would put out a jar. They might not even know that there is such a thing as a Charity Serenity Screenings. Maybe they would like to have a shindig in June too. Bet they haven't seen the shiny poster and t-shirt yet.
