Radio interview with James Marsters. Link goes to the XML podcast feed of the Canadian radio station which interviewed James and Shadow Puppets producer and Saskatchewan native Bob Crowe. Direct link to the mp3 is here.

The flim will have a limited, one-week run at the Fine Arts Theatre in Beverly Hills starting June 22nd, with a simultaneous New York run pending.

I listened to the interview live - who knew Shadow Puppets had a huge Saskatchewan connection!
I think that's the second time I've heard James express an interest in moving to Canada. I wonder how much of that has to do with speaking to Canadians at the time! And it looks like there will be showings in L.A. and NY so that's something at least.
Thought he expressed an interest in not moving to Canada when they were casting the Dresden Files TV series, filming in Toronto.
Well, toast...maybe James would prefer the natural splendour of Saskatchewan to the urban anthill that is the Greater Toronto Area;)
I thought he said something to the effect that he couldn't move to Toronto because of family obligations. If he could bring the kids with him, though, he would be living somewhere in Canada.

BTW, speaking of meaningless internet contests, James Marsters is losing by 21 votes at the moment over at TIFAUX and the voting ends at midnight today...but I do not know in what time zone. (Soon I think.)

This is the same contest that was linked to the front page to encourage people to vote for Nathan Fillion a while ago. They are down to the final 4 men and final 4 women. NF is out of it at this point but James Marsters is still in it, as is Alyson Hannigan and Jewel Staite. AH is winning and JS losing at the moment.

I was voting on that poll for a few days but today I haven't been able to get to the page that lets you vote. Same complaint from several others on a JM fan forum where I first found the link.

Although it could be a matter of talking to the home town crowd (ironic 'cause think there were more Americans there) when he was in Toronto few years ago he said if he had sole custody of his son he would like to move to Canada.

He also talked a lot about how he liked cities with green spaces, and the cities where he has spent the most time in Canada have those (ant hills in Toronto aside - we have a lot of urban parks!)
What is the link we are looking for when we click on the MP3 link? I was going to try to slip listening to this into my morning, but I could not figure out what the link was and I just did not have time to flail around.

I'm not sure if I understand what you mean but I think only one vote is allowed per person. Once you vote you can only see the results.
newcj .... you may be right, but I thought it was a "one vote per day" deal. If not, they weren't handling it very well earlier in the week, because I voted about four times :)

That is the radio station's main page. In order to access the mp3 file, you need to register with the station under "Insider" and then choose News 650 On Demand."

Registration is free, but they do want a lot of information.
