The Blogger's Choice Awards. Sites and bloggers up for nomination in various categories include Whedonesque, Nathan Fillion and Jane Espenson (reg. req to vote).

No Jewel? Someone might want to suggest her. Btw this was reposted to give everyone a fair chance. Cheers to browncoat for the original heads up.

So where's all the adult content on Whedonesque, Simon?
Oh my. Do you really think Whedonesque can compete with pictures of cute animals?
Hrm. I'm not convinced that Whedonesque is a good gossip blog. I mean there's some gossip here, but it doesn't seem to be a real focus. (And personally I like that a lot.) Rumors are often discussed here, but I don't think of those as the same thing as gossip.

I think Best Geek Blog is very fitting though. Good luck to the site!

I was pondering the adult content label too, J.Monique, but then I recalled a few relevant past threads, such as the one on slash fiction.

I admit cute animals have an appeal, but it gets old quickly for me. This doesn't though.

I voted for Whedonesque, Best Entertainment Blog and James Gunn, Best Celebrity Blog. Personally, I think Wil Wheaton is a superior blogger in every way, just in general, but James has made me yuck and yes, even cringe, over and over and over since I joined My Space last summer. His writing and observations are well worth fanning myself after the crude bits. Plus, he's really cute. No, I'm not sucking up, it's true!
The James Gunn blog rocks. Wheaton is a pansy.
Easy tiger, the boy Wheaton rules. If I could be arsed to register i'dve voted for Nathan though just because my first choices (Neil Gaiman and Wil Wheaton, in that order) clearly didn't need my help.

(and Whedonesque obviously, but IMO he/she/it doesn't qualify as a celebrity. Yet. Muhahahahah ;)
