(SPOILER) "Waitress" gets Two Thumbs up from Ebert & Roeper program Roger Ebert is MIA due to health reasons, but the review is very good, very enthusiastic. Several films are reviewed, so click on "Waitress" on the left side of the page to go directly to "our" Review. :)

I feel equally strong desires to see this movie and to have pie.
Chocolate movie pie with Nathan on top.
I love my Captain in anything pie with a graham cracker crust and whipped cream on top.

I loved this movie. Seeing it again next Thursday.
Yay! Not that I need confirmation that this is a good movie- but it doesn't hurt.
Newsweek.com also gave it a lovely review.
May I just take this moment to say two thumbs up to Roger Ebert? (I'm sure Nathan wouldn't mind if I momentarily hijack the thread.) Although I often do not agree with Ebert on his movie reviews, I have to give props to him. He made a public appearance this last week after having his jawbones removed due to his cancer. His face is radically altered, and many might shy away from the public spotlight as a result. He currently cannot speak (his wife is doing all the talking for him in interviews, and he writes his own answers on tablets of paper), but he has more reconstructive surgeries ahead, with the hope that he will be able to speak again in the future. He could just sit back and retire, but he hopes to return to television. He is one of those who is facing the reality of his disease with courage, and setting an example for us all. (His former partner, the late Gene Siskel, also bravely returned to TV briefly after treatment for his brain tumor.) Personally, I hope I can face such tremendous adversity with as much dignity (knock wood that I don't have to; just sayin').
Yeah, but what's his Wikipedia page all about?

That is so silly I can't stop giggling. People are looking at me funny.
