Doing the time warp again, this time with Buffy. The Villager looks at the 'Once More With Feeling' screening phenomenon. And if you're wondering if the screenings will be coming to a town near you over the summer, then check the Buffy Sing-A-Long website for details.

Sweet. I so hope I can go to this.
And given the schedule, anyone attending our Friday night charity Serenity screening in Portland should easily be able to head across the river to the sing-a-long. Smother yourself in Whedon!
DENVER! YAY!
Smother yourself in Whedon!

Wow.
Woot-woot! Denver!
With all the debate over the "shut up dawn" chanting at the screenings, I was pleased to see this in the article.

And respect for women is a message that still resonates with McClung. The sing-a-long features a running gag of yelling, “Shut up, Dawn!” at Buffy’s unpopular kid sister. But McClung once stopped a screening when an audience member yelled, “Shut up, bitch!” and said that anyone who didn’t respect women needed to leave the theater.

Not that our area is metro enough anyway, but the library filter considers "Uncool Kids" to be pornography;well, I could check at work Monday morn.
